We are happy to announce that ScanMed RFC has become a member of the Single European Railway Area Forum (SERAF)! This expert group was set up by DG MOVE with the aim to support the European Commission in the further implementation of Directive 2012/34/EU and in relation to the establishment of the Single European Railway Area more broadly.

After successfully passing the selection procedures a month ago, ScanMed RFC has now officially been listed in the Commission’s Register of Expert Groups. The inclusion of our Corridor into SERAF further demonstrates our relevance as a European public entity in the field of rail transport.

Through our Managing Director Furio Bombardi, who will represent the Corridor in the Expert Group, we are ready to assist the Commission in implementing existing EU legislation, programmes, and policies, preparing  delegated acts, legislative proposals, and policy initiatives, coordinating with Member States, and providing expertise.
