Recently, Safe Green Logistics A/S has made use of their new Container Transfer System – which allows for ISO containers to be loaded from the lorry directly to the freight train without the need for any lifting equipment – to ship two containers from Aalborg to DB Cargo’s terminal in Høje Taastrup, Copenhagen.

This is rail innovation in action. Sustainable and smart technology such as CTS can pave the way for more intermodal freight transport, lowering both transport costs and CO2 emissions – because with rail, business is climate-friendly!
