The ICM case on the line Hamburg – Flensburg / Padborg is still ongoing. The updated forecast for re-opening has been set for tomorrow, September 10th, at noon.
Since Saturday, both freight and passenger traffic were able to restart, albeit only partially, through a slot approach with fair distribution between all traffic types and RUs. Currently, only one train per hour in both directions is allowed.
The running time is foreseen to take 30-40 minutes longer due to reduced speed on the line (40 km/h). Checks are being carried out during each train passage, and works are ongoing to reconnect signalling cables and switches.
We will keep informing you on the case’s developments.
