As society and the transport market was regaining momentum after two years of pandemic, ScanMed RFC decided to better integrate the Port of Hirtshals and other stakeholders in Jutland. In order to build the transport solutions of tomorrow, we work in commercial and operational integration, involving both harbors, infrastructure managers and policy makers. In Northern Jutland, this entails gathering the Port of Hirtshals, Nordjyske Jernbaner and Region Nordjylland around the same table.
Hirtshals Havn and the infrastructure through Jutland isan important route for goods towards Norway and western Sweden, which in turn connects to important regional and national ports in Aarhus, Aalborg and Frederikshavn. It also provides redundancy for the very densely trafficked route over Zealand and Öresund.
We are very much looking forward to working closer with the Hirtshals Havn, NordJyske Jernbaner and Region Nordjylland and other stakeholders in Jutland.
We are also all pleased that Hirtshals Havn and Region Nordjylland signed ScanMed’s Climate Friendly Transport Declaration, here by Head of development, transport and Logistics Michael Rosenlund Langballe and ScanMed’s CRM Manager Kosta Tsesmetsis.
