Incoming change at the Corridor’s helm!

Yesterday, the ScanMed team gathered in Milano for a last meeting with the current Managing Director Furio Bombardi, who will leave the Corridor as of June 1. Aside from taking stock of all the projects undertaken in the past months, we provided the soon-to-be Managing Director, Stefano Marcoccio, with an overview of the Corridor’s activities and the tasks performed by each team member.

As Furio’s mandate comes to an end, we would like to thank him for his steadfast commitment to the RFC, tireless hard work, and critical contribution to our business. We would lie if we said that his departure does not sadden us all, as he has performed his role in an impeccable manner, always paying outmost respect to the team spirit which characterises our Corridor. In the past two years, he represented a pair of steady hands at a time of crucial developments in our sector and steered the RFC towards new heights. Dear Furio, you will be missed!

At the same time, we congratulate Stefano on his appointment. The team stands ready to support him in his role and looks forward to working with him. We are sure that under his guidance ScanMed RFC will continue improving its commercial offer to customers across the continent and strengthen the competitiveness of rail freight transport. Welcome, Stefano!
