New rail freight connections keep appearing along our Corridor! Since January, Kombiverkehr GmbH & Co. KG and DB Cargo Scandinavia have teamed up to expand their train services between Germany and Sweden.
The new offers connect Lübeck (Dänischburg CTL terminal) to Stockholm Norra (Rosersberg) via Hallsberg as well as the Copenhagen Malmö Port to Stockholm via the Port of Norrköping and are performed by rail through the Danish land route or as a continuous ferry-train line in partnership with Finnlines.
For Armin Riedl, Kombiverkehr’s Managing Director, “the new connections show once again that we provide our customers with the necessary flexibility in the planning and execution of their transport across Europe. The freight forwarder decides on the routing himself, and we offer him the important services of continuous transport in a one-stop shop process, including ferry transport.”
For Birgit W., DB Cargo Scandinavia’s CEO, “this product requires a great focus on the customer’s needs, so we can deliver a fast and stable connection to Germany. We are happy about our extended network in Sweden and the great environmental benefit it gives customers.”
