We are excited to announce the Call for Offers for the European Transport Market Study (TMS), which aims to provide an overview of the current state of the EU’s rail traffic market for both freight and passenger services.

In parallel to this study, the RFC Network and RNE will conduct a joint update of the individual RFC transport market studies. ScanMed RFC published its first TMS in late 2014, but the international environment has undergone dramatic shifts ever since. Just in the last three years, Europe has been facing the COVID-19 pandemic, rising energy costs and inflation, Russia’s war of aggression in Ukraine, and the growing geopolitical confrontation between the United States and China, with all its consequences for international trade. As a result, a TMS update is urgently needed to ensure that RFCs’ activities keep reflecting market demand.

We invite all interested parties to submit their offers and join us in in enhancing European rail traffic, promoting sustainable mobility and economic growth, and contributing to the implementation of the European Green Deal!
