Today 20 September 2019, the ScanMed Corridor is actively attending a conference on the competitiveness of the railway transport organized by Trafikverket.

An interesting discussion on the railway strategy to improve the freight transport that will take place in Haymarket by Scandic from 9:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Our Managing director, Emanuele Mastrodonato, will represent our corridor explaining how the ScanMed RFC is increasing the efficiency in rail freight transport.

The main objective of the meeting, coordinated by our chair Linda Thulin, is to develop a comprehensive vision of the European strategy to increase the role of the railway freight modal share and it will also deal with:

• the TEN-T contribution to the strengthening of the Swedish and European competitiveness (Pat Cox)
• the overview of the German and Norwegian freight transport strategy (Oliver Sellnick and Bjørn Kristiansen).
